I feel incredibly fortunate to have had the opportunity to work in a hydraulic laboratory at UDEP and conduct measurements in the vast Amazonian rivers with UTEC. These experiences have honed my skills in managing acoustic, surveying, and positioning equipment. Additionally, I have had the privilege of leading field campaigns and serving as an investigator.

My research goals are centered on the Amazonian Rivers, which remain largely unexplored. I aim to highlight their immense value and, more importantly, integrate my knowledge of fluvial morphology with other disciplines. I am deeply committed to involving university students in research projects, as they represent the next generation of river scientists wo will tackle issues related to climate change and human impacts on landscapes. After completing my Ph.D. studies at LSU, I aspire to return to academia and work as a professor, continuing to inspire and educate future scientists.
